Please join us in welcoming Maurice M Sampson II, a life-long environmentalist, Philadelphia’s first recycling coordinator, national recycling advocate, and Delaware Valley entrepreneur. Maurice served on the National Clean Water Action Board of Directors for 25 years. A Philadelphia resident for 30 years, Maurice is an active civic leader. As the Recycle NOW Campaign Chair, he led a city wide grassroots citizen’s campaign that resulted in former Mayor Michael Nutter implementing curbside recycling for every Philadelphia resident increasing the City’s recycling rate from 4% – 18%.

Come hear Maurice share his vision for Clean Water Action in the coming period of Trump and the work Clean Water Action is doing locally to address lead and other drinking water contamination issues.
