Green Leadership Trust and Green 2.0 are distinct entities with a similar vision. Both organizations strive to create an environmental sector that is more equitable and inclusive – a formidable challenge that requires many different approaches. Green Leadership Trust is a network of people of color and indigenous people that serve on environmental boards, so it is working from within the organizational leadership to make change. Green 2.0 is ​an independent nonprofit organization who strategically utilizes external levers to increase pressure and accountability​ including drawing on organizational diversity data. The two organizations cooperate and collaborate where it may be beneficial, and they are committed to leveraging each other’s strengths while avoiding duplication of efforts.
