On August 30, Green Leadership Trust co-hosted a webinar with the Quaker UN Office on “Quiet Conversations”. Presented by Lindsey Fielder Cook of the Quaker United Nations Office, the webinar explored how quiet conversations provide a confidential space for participants from diverse backgrounds to share candid thoughts about common challenges.  QUNO has used quiet diplomacy/conversations at international climate change negotiations since 2013 to help build communication and understanding between countries. GLT, whose mission is to foster diversity in the boards of environmental organizations, is exploring its use among peers in the climate advocacy community to help bridge divides across race, culture, and other dimensions.You can listen to the webinar below and see Lindsey’s presentation notes here.
