Moreover, we highlighted prominent Black environmental scholars, educators, farmers,
plant-based chefs, and community organizers. We facilitated thoughtful conversations that
spurred organic connections and enlightened the community on work happening in the U.S.,
Dominica, and Antigua. Our week culminated with give-a-ways from a local outdoors company.
As a leader in environment and sustainability, we know that your commitment to centering
principles of diversity, equity and inclusion strongly melds with our own. Would you be willing
to donate to help support our second annual #BlackInEnvironment week? Your generosity
would bring us closer to our goal of raising $50,000. The donation will support honorariums for
our speakers/panelists, trauma informed facilitators, and social media takeovers. Here is the link
to our Black in Environment donation site.
Thank you for considering our request, and please contact us with any questions you may have.
We hope to hear from you soon!
