Join the Green Leadership Trust for a conversation about unions, environmental nonprofits, and boards of directors. Our panel of experts will explore and contextualize recent events (and longstanding conditions) in the environmental movement that have led to an upward trend of organized workers in green groups. They will also discuss the impact that the allegiance between labor movements and conservation movements has had on public health, especially in collective bargaining contexts.Webinar panelists and moderator, clockwise from top left: Bill Fletcher Jr., Susana Reyes, Tykee James, Emira Woods (moderator), Dr. Silpa Satheesh, Jay MonteverdeBanner image: Protesters gather around the world to urge the United States not to initiate the Iraq War due to environmental and humanitarian concerns on February 15, 2003, exactly 20 years prior to the date of our webinar (Imperial War Museum, London, UK).Register Now Panelists Bill Fletcher Jr. is author of “‘They’re Bankrupting Us’ – And Twenty other myths about unions,” and has served as senior staff at the national AFL-CIO.Susana Reyes is Commissioner for the City of L.A.
