These super-emitting housing units often face barriers to participation in existing energy efficiency programs and are subject to significant health issues and energy burdens for the vulnerable populations who typically reside there. Acadia Center’s energy efficiency and buildings work draws from decades of success creating and expanding energy efficiency policies and programs in the northeast. The Senior Manager will lead strategies to achieve the goals of our Energy Efficiency and Building Energy Justice Initiative to comprehensively retrofit and electrify these homes through, building support, creating strong, respectful relationships with diverse voices, and advancing ambitious policy recommendations. The position will play a central leadership role shaping materials, outreach, policy approaches and recommendations. Location: Acadia Center offices remain closed due to the pandemic and all work is remote.
