Our Expertise

Coaching Rooted in Lived Experience.

As the first cross-sector network of Black, Indigenous, and People of Color fiduciaries serving on the boards of U.S. nonprofit environmental organizations, GLT members bring a wealth of knowledge and decades of experience navigating predominantly white spaces in environmental and conservation nonprofits. Our members are experts in navigating these spaces, and GLT staff are trained to provide strategic coaching and support to organizations on board engagement, leadership development, and justice, equity, diversity, and inclusion (JEDI).

GLT uses a number of communications channels to reach its broad network of members and stakeholders. As a benefit of membership, members may use these channels to seek consultant referrals.
